Elezioni Com.It.Es. 2026 – Consolato Generale d’Italia di Montreal
I Com.It.Es. (Comitati degli Italiani all’Estero) sono organismi che rappresentano i connazionali all’estero nei rapporti con Ambasciate e Consolati e ne favoriscono l’integrazione. Hanno inoltre il compito di preservare la memoria storica dell’emigrazione italiana e valorizzare il contributo italiano nelle società in cui operano.
Possono essere istituiti nelle Circoscrizioni consolari che superano i 3.000 iscritti AIRE e sono composti da 12 membri nelle comunità fino a 100.000 connazionali e da 18 membri nelle comunità che superano tale soglia. I membri dei comitati restano in carica 5 anni.
Il voto per le elezioni avviene per corrispondenza e ne avranno accesso i connazionali residenti da almeno 6 mesi nella Circoscrizione Consolare di appartenenza.
Nel 2026 sono fissate le elezioni per il rinnovo dei Com.It.Es.
Il Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale ribadisce l’importanza della partecipazione al voto, momento essenziale per rafforzare la rappresentanza delle numerose comunità italiane all’estero. I Comitati costituiscono infatti un punto di riferimento costante per i connazionali, facendosi portavoce delle loro esigenze e promuovendone gli interessi nei territori di appartenenza.
La Farnesina invita pertanto tutti i cittadini italiani residenti all’estero a partecipare attivamente a questo importante appuntamento democratico, contribuendo così a sostenere e valorizzare la propria comunità italiana di riferimento.

Elezioni Com.It.Es. 2026 – Consolato Generale d’Italia di Montreal
The Com.It.Es. (Committees of Italians Abroad) are bodies that represent Italian citizens abroad in their relations with Embassies and Consulates and support their integration. They also have the task of preserving the historical memory of Italian emigration and of promoting the contribution of Italians within the societies in which they operate.
They may be established in consular districts with more than 3,000 AIRE‑registered residents and are composed of 12 members in communities with up to 100,000 Italian citizens, and 18 members in communities that exceed that threshold. Committee members serve for a term of five years.
Voting for the elections takes place by mail, and Italian citizens who have been residents for at least six months in their respective Consular District will be eligible to participate.
In 2026, elections are scheduled for the renewal of the Com.It.Es.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation reiterates the importance of participating in the vote, an essential moment for strengthening the representation of the numerous Italian communities abroad. The Committees are in fact a constant point of reference for Italian citizens, acting as a voice for their needs and promoting their interests in their respective territories.
The Farnesina therefore invites all Italian citizens residing abroad to take an active part in this important democratic event, thereby helping to support and enhance their Italian community of reference.
