Our Italian cooking classes are an experience your group will love! Fun, social and ideal for corporate team-building, client events, and private group celebrations.

Our private Italian cooking experiences are chef-led interactive demonstrations, where your group enjoys a live cooking experience while learning how each dish comes together.

This is not a hands-on class where everyone is rushed through recipes.

Instead, you’ll watch, ask questions, take part in key moments, and enjoy all the delicious Italian food prepared right in front of you. It’s relaxed, engaging, and built for connection.

Private cooking classes and experiences start at $750 per group (8 to 15 guests). Final pricing depends on your menu and group size.

Think of these sessions as a live Italian cooking show where your group is part of the experience.

Everything is prepared, hosted, and guided for you — no setup, no cleanup, no stress.

What’s Included in Your Private Italian Cooking Experience?

Your group will enjoy a fully hosted, chef-led experience designed to be social, interactive, and memorable.

Each booking includes:

• A private 2 to 2.5 hour chef-led cooking experience
• Interactive live demonstration of multiple Italian dishes
• A selection of Italian dishes prepared live and served throughout the experience
• Bottled water for each guest
• Printed recipes to take home
• Private use of the space for your group
• Dedicated chef and team focused only on your group

• Wine pairings (pre-ordered for your group)
• Menu customization based on preferences

THE FINE PRINT …

• Classes are available for groups with a minimum of  8 to a maximum of 15 people.
• A 50% non refundable deposit is required to book the class.
• Confirmation of the final number of people attending and payment is due 5 days prior to the event.

We also offer a limited number of options for drink purchases for cooking classes hosted at the Italian Canadian Cultural Association — open to the community as guests. Payment by card only.  Bottles may be pre-ordered for corporate and private classes. Pre-ordered wine is purchased in advance and cannot be refunded or taken home if not consumed.

All classes are held at the Italian Canadian Cultural Association on Agricola Street in Halifax.

REFUND POLICY. Due to advanced purchasing, staffing, and preparation, no refunds are offered, except in the case of true emergencies at our discretion.
