We offer over 13,000 square feet of accessible meeting and event space in the heart of Halifax, Nova Scotia. We have spacious rooms to fit groups of all sizes, and event needs as well as a fully equipped kitchen* & bar facility to accommodate your special event.

CATERING & BAR SERVICES

Our commercial kitchen, located off our main hall, is ideal for your chosen catering service.

Bar services are available for events held in the Grand Hall or Clubroom. Depending on the size of your event, a bartender can be available for hire through the ICCA. Specially requested products will be supplied at the cost to the client.

Our space is accessible with a ramp for entry to the facility and an elevator for access to the accessible washrooms. Washrooms include space for wheelchair users to move around freely along with wider doors and grab bars in the bathroom stalls. (Note: Our washrooms do not have push-button doors, but our front entries do.)

VENUE ACCESS

Decor set-up and tear-down occur during the hours on the function date. If available, ICCANS may grant early access (for an additional fee) to the venue for set-up.

BOOKING A SITE VIEWING

A site inspection can be arranged. Appointments are 30 minutes and include a full tour of the venue.

DEPOSIT

A $500.00 deposit is required to secure your date. Your deposit is allocated towards the total for your event. Get started now by contacting our rental committee to book your event.

STAFF AND SERVERS

An on-duty supervisor, bartender and servers can be included for your event. Additional fees will apply.

CANCELLATIONS & POLICIES

In the event the Client cancels the Agreement after the confirmation deposit has been received, the deposit shall be forfeited by the Client to ICCANS. In the event the Client cancels the Agreement with less than thirty (30) days remaining prior to its commencement date, the Client shall forfeit all deposits and be liable for any other expenses and ancillary services, which ICCANS might incur. ICCANS reserves the right to amend, reschedule or cancel an event at any time for circumstances outside of our control that may cause the safety of staff and or guests to be at risk or otherwise compromise our ability to execute the event as planned. Such a circumstance could include but is not limited to a severe weather event (e.g., Hurricane, major snowstorm etc.), fire, flood, disruption to power or water supply, major equipment failure etc. In such a situation, we would consult with the client as early as possible and work to find a suitable solution. In such a case, all fees paid will be refunded, and ICCANS will not be responsible in any way whatsoever, including any costs or loss of revenue, due to the cancellation of such an event/activity.

The ICCA supports the responsible service and consumption of alcoholic beverages in compliance with the regulations of the Nova Scotia Alcohol and Gaming Authority. The ICCA reserves the right to discontinue the service to patrons who violate the principles of responsible alcohol consumption. All beverages to be served in licensed (NSLC) function rooms must be provided by the ICCA. Special liquor requests must be made at least one week before the date of your event. The last call to the bar will be at 12:00 am.

SOCAN and RESOUND FEES may apply to your rental. Our rental team will let you know at your initial meeting.

SOME RESTRICTIONS ON OUR FACILITY RENTALS TO NOTE:

1.    The ICCA takes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items brought in by the planner (client) or supplier.

2.    The ICCA will accept shipment/delivery of items sent to premises (without taking any responsibility as to condition, items or quantity) on the Event Date if advance arrangements for delivery time has been made by the planner with an ICCA representative.

3.    Any/all damage to walls or the ICCA facility in its entirety that may occur in delivering, setting up, dismantling or removing of outside rental items is the financial responsibility of the planner (client) to ICCA for any/all costs incurred to make repairs.

4.    Items left behind with no arrangement to be picked up within 48 hrs. will become the property of ICCA.

5.    Under no circumstances are any decor items to be adhered to the walls without receiving permission directly from the ICCA.
