Festa Italiana Halifax 2026 – The Italian Weekend

In 2026, the Italian Canadian Cultural Association of Nova Scotia celebrates 50 years – and we’re marking it with Atlantic Canada’s largest Italian cultural festival.
Join us September 11–12 for homemade Italian food, wine tastings, culture, and family fun in Halifax’s Little Italy.
- Friday, September 11 – Gnocchi Night, 6–10pm and Saturday, September 12 – Full Festa, 12–10pm

- Food service til 9pm, and our Liuna 615 Piazza is open til 10pm both nights.
Entry by donation, with proceeds supporting the ICCA Bursary Fund. ICCA members and sponsor guests skip the line with our Passo Rapido!
THE FOOD – Every dish is prepared by ICCA volunteers using our special recipes – lasagna, gnocchi, arancini, focaccia, and more. Straight off the Cherubini BBQ: our homemade Italian sausage, right alongside one of Festa’s most requested favourites – arrosticini – BBQ lamb skewers! Finish with cannoli, crostoli, crostata, or tiramisu, and grab a coffee from the ICCA Espresso Bar, made with coffee from Espresso46.
WINE TASTING – Guided Italian wine tastings with sommelier Craig Sampson, paired with Italian antipasti. Seats are limited and this sells out every year. [Tickets available August 13th]
DESTINATION ITALIA (3rd Floor) – head upstairs to meet our cooking and language school instructors, take a quick Italian lesson, watch a cooking demo, chat with Italian travel experts about planning a trip to Italy, and visit the Italian Heritage Library.
FAMILY FUN – Facepainting with KC’s Face Painting, the Andiamo a Pescare kids’ fishing game, and learn to play Bocce on our indoor court. Take your own photo with our Italian Vespa or Fiat!
