Refund Policy

The Italian Canadian Cultural Association of Nova Scotia recognizes that plans can change. However, our cooking classes require advance commitments so we can schedule instructors and purchase food for a specific number of participants. This Refund Policy applies to all students and participants who register for cooking classes offered by the Association.

Please ensure you understand our No Refund policy before purchasing your tickets.

Refund Policy:

    1. All registrations are final. We do not offer refunds or credits if you cancel or can no longer attend, for any reason, unless the Association cancels the class.
    2. Participants are responsible for noting their class dates and schedule. Please ensure you understand our No Refund policy before purchasing your tickets.
    3. If you can no longer attend, you may find someone else to take your seat. Any monetary exchange is strictly between you and your replacement. Please email the ICCA office with the name of the person(s) taking your seat before the class.
    4. Classes require a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not met, the Association reserves the right to cancel a class and will offer a full refund with no administration fee, payable by online refund or cheque.
    5. If the Association cancels a class (for example, due to snowstorms, instructor illness, or other unexpected situations), we will offer a makeup date. If you cannot attend the makeup date(s), you may request a refund; no administration fee will be charged.
    6. For snowstorms, we make the decision by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the class and will email participants if there is a cancellation.
